Rotaract starts with Rotary

Rotary is an international organization that seeks to unite the world in understanding, learning, peace, and service. Rotary's vision is a healthy and happy world created from lasting change from today's service projects such as eradicating disease, caring for the environment, providing clean water, protecting mothers and children, improving education and access, and growing local economies. Members of Rotary are diverse in all ways, coming from many countries, backgrounds, and professions to exchange ideas and find new ways to have a lasting, positive impact on our world. Rotary believes in tomorrow and does a great deal to invite and inspire the next generation. Rotary sponsors two affiliate organizations, Interact and Rotaract. Interact is a high school level organization that connects teens with service and personal development opportunities. Rotaract was developed for young adults to do the same.

What is Rotaract? 

Rotaract is a global organization that brings young adults aged 18 years and older together to serve their communities, build relationships, and grow professionally. Rotaract thrives on the exchange of ideas, learning new things, and connecting with new people. Here in Columbia, Missouri, our club meets monthly to listen to guest speakers, learn about our community, and plan service events. In addition to our monthly meetings, we also attend organized service events to volunteer our time and get together for social events such as trivia nights or pickleball!

Our Rotaract club strives to inspire young professionals to get involved in their community and find new and exciting ways to give back to the while building relationships with other professional and service minded individuals. Our club is vibrant, energetic, and ready to do good in the Columbia area!
